The Scottish Terrier and Dog News got started as an experiment in highly-targeted, high-quality content. According to Google Webmaster Tools, it now ranks 8th for the query, Scottish Terrier. My goal is number 1!
My Other Dog Blog
The Daily Dachshund and Dog News is an attempt to see whether the success of the Scottie News is scalable across a range of dog breeds. Since wiener dogs are times more popular than Scottish Terriers, I want to see if I get 10 times more readers.

They were a little venture-funded news wire...nothing to do with Tullet-Prebon... Nothing particularly novel about the business. It syndicated content to market-oriented websites cheaper than the big guys like Reuters and Dow Jones...no mysteries or conspiracies...
